Pacific Madrone
This Arbutus menziesii (Pacific Madrone) can be found anywhere from Canada to California. It has a beautiful orange-red bark that peels away as it matures.

Sunset During the Ventura Fires
Recent fires in the Ventura area had left particulates in the air which turned the sunset intense reds and oranges.
